Giving Day 2025

We are very excited about our 36 hour Giving Day taking place across Monday 17th March and Tuesday 18th March.

This will be our third Giving Day celebration, and it is a fantastic opportunity for our community here at St Joseph’s to work together, raising money for our It Takes a Village Fund to support our wonderful school and its pupils.

The funds raised are used to bridge the gap between government funding and our enriched curriculum provision, essentially, we are raising capital to invest in our learning environment. This year we have set ourselves the ambitious target of £30,000. We are already halfway to this target, having raised an amazing £15,000 and it would be fantastic if we could reach our total by the feast day of St Joseph on Wednesday 19th March.

Across Monday and Tuesday, our pupils will be taking part in a series of fun sponsored activities and challenges to raise funds. Please see our website for more details on your child’s sponsored activity.

We will be sharing regular updates on our success throughout the 36 hours online so be sure to follow us on our website and Instagram and support us by liking and sharing our posts.

If you are unable to participate on the day, you can still get involved beforehand. Please support our It Takes a Village Fund by:

1. Sponsoring your child for their class sponsored activity. Perhaps you could ask your friends and family to sponsor them too!

2. Supporting the own clothes day on the 17th March.

3. Pledge to donate a monthly amount to the school’s It Takes a Village Fund, and, if eligible, claim Gift Aid. Click here for a pledge form on the back of the fund booklet.

4. Donate via the ParentPay app.

5. Encourage friends and family to make a donation by sharing our donation QR code, and website link.
