St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

What is a Giving Day?

Below you will find answers to many common questions about St Joseph’s Giving Day

'Through Christ We Achieve Our Personal Best'.

What is St Joseph’s Giving Day?

It is a 36-hour focused challenge to bring together pupils, staff, parents, and Governors, both virtually and physically, to celebrate and fundraise in the spirit of all that is outstanding about St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Chelsea. All the money raised will go towards the It Takes a Village Fund.

Unfortunately, the current education funding crisis continues to threaten schools, with small primary schools suffering the most through cuts and freezes. We must take proactive steps to enable us to retain and improve what we can offer pupils at St Joseph’s.

We need to continue to invest in our pupils and our fundraising campaign is key to helping us achieve this.

What is the It Takes a Village Fund?

The Fund is to improve provision for our pupils and ensure we can give them the best possible educational and extra-curricular experiences. Through the collective effort of the entire community, we can help to ensure that St Joseph’s continues to be a truly special place, a village school in the heart of London, which offers a fantastic education and opportunities to all pupils, regardless of their background.

Where will my donation go?

All donations will go into the It Takes a Village Fund which will go directly back into the school to support the areas that need it most.
